I am thrilled to share that Option 1 Live has won the prestigious Eventex Award 2024 in the “Use of Technology”category for our groundbreaking AI71 Company Launch Event. This recognition celebrates a journey of creativity, innovation, and technological mastery that redefined the possibilities of live experiences.
A Night to Remember
The launch took place on November 28, 2023, at the stunning St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. Hosted by Option 1 Design Studio Labs, a proud part of the Option 1 Group, the event was organized for the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC). I had the privilege of leveraging the Falcon generative AI model to showcase multi-domain AI applications across medical, educational, and legal sectors, creating a truly immersive and futuristic experience.
A Journey into Innovation
From the moment guests entered the venue, they were greeted by an awe-inspiring entrance tunnel illuminated with interactive LED Pixel Bars, setting the tone for the evening. In the pre-function area, attendees marveled at the fusion of 3D Volumetric displays and Cubical LED screens, transforming data and neurons into mesmerizing generative digital art.
AI at the Heart of the Event
One of the highlights was our AI Digital Volumetric Master of Ceremony, a custom-built ODS bot that synchronized real-time data to guide the event flow. Its lifelike lip-sync and advanced audio output created a seamless and engaging experience, demonstrating the power of AI in live event storytelling.
Precision Planning and Execution
Executing a visionary event in just three weeks required meticulous planning and round-the-clock dedication. Every element, from the immersive arch tunnel to integrated branding, was designed to perfection. Using Unreal Engine for real-time 12K content creation, we delivered a visual experience of unmatched realism and vibrancy, ensuring that every detail, from the storyboard to VIP arrangements, was flawless.

Being honored by the Eventex Awards validates the team’s relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence. The judges recognized our creative solutions, technological integration, and the ability to deliver a truly transformative experience. The AI71 launch also provided ATRC a powerful platform to showcase AI71 to key stakeholders, including esteemed figures such as H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
